AOY – small stitches

One night I was reading a Cross Stitching magazine. This issue was one of my London-presents from an earlier trip of my husband when he visited the capital. (It is always a challenge for him to look for cross stitching magazines during his trips.) He often finds these magazines, but sometimes he has to come home without finding anything. Unfortunately, these magazines can’t be bought at every newsagents )

So the magazine was in my hands, with the free samples from  All Our Yesterdays. Let’s start it, I thought, and I started to stitch it. I do not like to wait for stitching these kind of sets, because my magazines are in order, and I do not like to miss any of the issues.

The first "siesta" ran so.

On the second run I finished the cross stitches and only the contours were missing:

After finishing the contours it looked like this:

At the end, only the backstitches had to be stitched and a great little picture came out from it. You'll see the framed picture in the news soon.

How do you like this little picture? Do you use similar tiny sets and pictures? Or do you prefer bigger pieces?
