My gifts from Birmingham

I think it is normal to arrive home with some gifts for myself. I suppose that it would be the fact with all of us when in case we are at on such an exhibition what is relating to our hobbies. It is hard to withstand the temptations.

Since it was already a great pleasure to came out to one of the biggest quilt shows on the globe, I tried not to open my pocket purse many times. It was a really hard work.

Most of the market places offered good prices on their stuff and the material was very nice as well. So I bought 0,5-1 meter long textiles or fat quarters.

I planned to buy small panels for my future works also, so when I saw them I put several into my basket, too.  I guess the sellers know that most of us will buy only 1 or two lines from these small panels, so they were pre-cut.

And now as I have both material and ideas I only have to find some time to sew them. I hope I will manage this also.

How do you like my basket of materials?  Are you able to hold yourself back  from buying several things at  an event like this?
