A surprise for me!
Just after Easter I received an e-mail from one of my readers asking me to give my postal address to her. Even though I spend half of my life in front of the web I asked her why she needs my private address. I was a bit afraid of receiving unwanted parcels. Her answer was she wished to send me a surprise.
I hoped I wouldn’t be robbed… After arriving home after our weekend spent away I found a letter in our postbox. In the envelope I found another envelope. From the second envelope a nice chicken came out. Additionally she mentioned the fact that there will be Easter in next year, too.
I was surprised and felt happy in the same time. The letter said that I received this chick because I could give a lot of surprises on my webpage. I couldn’t believe that someone would send such a personal gift to me since she doesn’t know me personally at all. Of course you can see the photo taken of the quilted chick as a part of this post.
And I wish to say thank you to Ildi for this nice gift also.
