This half-day course was held by Martine House, who showed us the basic ribbon stitches during the workshop. As I remember, we were only 12 in this group and the three hours just went away quickly. I have stitched the flowers you can see on the picture above. I have to tell you, I am so enthusiastic about this embroidery technique.
At the beginning of this course Martina showed us several finished ribbon stitched materials so we could see what kind of things can be made with this technique. My experience was that in spite of the fact that we all received the same package and materials all the finished embroidery became different at the end. The other advantage is that after stitching for approximately 3 hours we made quite a big piece of finished stuff.
