Without my eyes

I have spent a couple of days without my eyes.  Fortunately no one has hurt them but they were not able to be used for watch anything. I am suffering from this hurt almost every day. It hasfelt like being on a roller-coaster.  On one day everything is all right while on the other day my cornea thinks it doesn’t want to remain in its place.  When this happens I am not able to do anything, all light hurts, and it turns out for me that no medicine can help your eyes.  This post can be written since I think the pain has ended now and I do not need to talk about my eyes any more.

Unfortunately, because of this situation several needlework pieces are only half way to being ready or photographed or to be posted to this page. Fortunately I am a person who doesn't leave every job to the last minute so I am not in the worst situation now.  There will be two exhibition deadlines in May for which I only have to fill out the application forms.

In the same time I am also preparing for visiting my ex-high school where I am going to show my needlework in an event where all the last teachers and students of the last 45 years will meet. I was asked to show my needlework since they saw my webpage. For this event, in case I find someone who wishes to try stitching I will carry some small stitching projects. (Some of the owls are waiting for me to sew their second half, but the other ones are ready.)

I am lucky since my husband was so kind to answer questions in my name here and he was reading all the things thet happened here.  On top of this he has sent out the blocks to the newsletter readers, too. He is nice, isn’t he? We were also thinking about innovation but all of the ideas have to be tested later.

But to answer e-mails will be my task now so please be patient and I will try to answer all your e-mails as soon as possible.

Summer is coming soon so I don't always like to stitch in this period of the year.  I wish to stay next to the sewing machine less and to spend more time outside.  Inspite of this I plan to show you some cross stitched surprises during the summer months, too. I will refresh the news soon and I also have several ideas to write on this blog – I only have to write them down.

Of course I am still interested in your photos of the blocks stitched based on my stars instructions. I hope you will send more and more of them.

Till this time I wish you a nice day and good stitching.
