Here are some interesting data about the exhibition
- In 2006 the exhibition took place not only in Budapest but in Keszthely’s Caslte as well. There were 278 exhibitors, several from them presenting more than one piece of crafts.
- In 2007 almost 300 participants showed more than 500 crafts in Vajdahunyad Castle
- Every year has its own special theme on top of the general crafts. This year’s theme is the renaissance.
Although cross stitch projects and quilts have been ready for quite some time for the exhibition, the tender application form has remained the last moments. One reason for this was the laziness and the other is the mess in my eyes. But at the end somehow I could manage to deliver the crafts on time, and to transfer the application fee, too...
I got some dilemma in connection with this application since I have two nice piece of quilts what I wish to show the Hungarian audience, but eventually it has been sent to an another show now. I will write soon about the other show in a separate post, too. Unfortunately these two shows overlap each other and one piece of quilt is not able to be in two different places in the same time.
After sending the application forms we presented the projects to the place where they will be juried by experts and I hope that the jury deems them worthy of an exhibition.
As a memory look at the pictures we took at the exhibition of last year to feel how the mood was there and also please check the other group of pictures took on the workshop we held in the castle.
Are you willing to join us for a workshop like this in this year?

Megnéztem a tavalyi kiállítás képeit, varázslatosak a művek! Gratulálok!
Tegnap kaptam az értesítést, hogy a két pályáztom egyikánek minden darabját, a másiknak pedig egy részét elfogadták, s kiállításra kerülnek majd.
