The yearly craftsmanship exhibition was organised in Vajdahunyad Castle in last summer.  My works were represented there with cross stitches and quilts as well. During the period of this exhibition, the Night of the Museums was celebrated also.  We had a sudden idea that time and waited for the visitors with a surprise of stitching small quilts.  Thanks for the help and cooperation of the organisers.

I went to the Night of Museums together with 130 unfinished chick. Frankly, I thought it was already a good result, if half runs by the end of the programs. By contrast, I do not know when the time is gone, but by eleven o’clock the total number of chicks has been stitched. They were sewed by all ages, young, old, children, and even my surprise, the men joined the ladies in their stitching activity.  I was very happy that I could ask my Helping Husband to accompany me, because sometimes even he had to show what, where and how stich.

Encouraged by last year's success, this year I will go there not only with one kind of small quilt but, but three kinds of raw materials were prepared and they looking forward to you, dear visitor, to come and join our workshop there and create your own quilts together with us.

Please be inspired by last year’s photos uploaded into this gallery: 2007 Chick-making

But you can create your own chicken based on the description on the website, "How to do it" menu.

Come and join our workshop and make your own memory quilt!
